Visible Mend & Patch Workshop Sunday, September 14th, 1-4p
Learn the foundations for mending! You’ll learn eight basic stitches and some techniques to start your project. Materials will be provided as you learn the basics in the first part of class. Then, we’ll move on to the repair steps in the second half of class; please bring a repair project to focus on.
When bringing a project to mend, please remember that woven fabrics (cotton, linen, denim) are ideal for this workshop however you are welcome to bring a knit (sweater, stretch shirt) as I’ll also give a short presentation on mending these types of garments as well.
Classes are in person only, with limited space.
This class will take place on Sunday, September 14th from 1-4p. We will take a short break if you’d like to bring lunch or a snack.
